We love our community partners!

Assistance League of Seattle collaborates regularly with local businesses for matching gift campaigns, fundraisers, service projects, and more. Together we can remove more barriers to education for more disadvantaged students in Seattle.  Here are some of our recent partnerships:

A big thank you to Doctors Mike Osaki (PT), Justine Potter (LMT) and Erin Patterson (DPT, COMPT, FAAOMPT) of Greenwood Physical Therapy for choosing AL Seattle as their Quarterly Nonprofit. They will be generously donating a portion of their proceeds to our organization over the next few months. Please visit their website: www.greenwoodpt.com to see what they have written about us. You’ll find it by clicking on their “Giving Back” tab. In addition, they will donate $1.00 to AL Seattle for every new user who “likes” Greenwood Physical Therapy on their Facebook page.

Please consider visiting Greenwood Physical Therapy for your next PT or Massage Therapy appointment as a thank you for supporting Assistance League!

In August 2016, the UW Women’s Soccer Team shared smiles and helping hands as they volunteered with Operation School Bell®! The team helped Operation School Bell volunteers to clean, unpack and fold clothes, and restock the shelves as we prepare for the new school year. Thanks for all the help, and Go Huskies!
On May 26Luxe Interiors + Design PNW magazine hosted BarkART 2016 – Rock ‘N Roll Paint Party at the newly renovated Seattle Design Center. This is an annual event where teams of interior designers, architects builders, industry partners and local artists create animal-themed works of art to be donated to a local charity that supports underprivileged children. This year’s fundraiser recipient was Assistance League of Seattle. Guests mingled at Luxe’s BarkArt event while the teams painted 2’x2’ canvases, and were also able to paint their own pieces at the art stations. Assistance League of Seattle received $4,000 from the event! Thank you, Luxe Interiors + Design, for your support!

Steve Bean and his partners at TRUEbenefits received the National Operation School Bell Award in recognition of their continuing support to help Assistance League of Seattle clothe Seattle’s children in need. This company has donating 1% of their gross revenue to Operation School Bell for the past two years.

This year, TRUEbenefits continued their support by generously making a matching pledge up to $6,000 for raise-the-paddle bids at the $100 level. Thank you Steve and TRUEbenefits!

During the strike at Seattle Public Schools in September 2015, volunteers from Seattle Education Association helped with yardwork at the Operation School Bell facility and Assistance League of Seattle Thrift Shop. Thank you for your service!
