Wow!  We hit the Jackpot today when we shopped at Assistance League Thrift Shop!

Recently, Peter Ramos, his wife and their daughter, Olivia, were browsing the aisles and displays when they stopped in front of the electronics showcase and a Magellan Roadmate Pro box peaked their interest.  Dedicated RVers, the Ramos family travels the highways and byways of our state enjoying camping sites like Arrowhead and Idlewilde.  Peter asked to see the Magellan GPS system donated to Assistance League, carefully checked out by our volunteers and displayed in the case. The Roadmate Pro along with all the mounts, cords and manuals were in the original box, and, the best part—the price was right!  Peter explained that a good GPS system is especially important for people driving large recreational vehicles because it lets the driver know the the best routes to your destination as well as the height of bridges and the location of nearby gas stations.  Peter said he felt like they hit the jackpot that day!
The Assistance League of Temecula Valley Thrift Store is a favorite of the Ramos family.  They especially love browsing in the toy department and the children’s clothing department for clothes and toys for Olivia.  Thank you, Mr. and Mrs. Ramos and Olivia, for shopping with us!
