Over the years, the Stoners have supported Assistance League of Victor Valley®. When they recently asked for more detailed information about the programs, one of our volunteers was happy to meet with them. They were both impressed with all that is accomplished by an all-volunteer organization and so decided to give a very special and generous gift!
On Thursday, February 13th, they attended the monthly regular meeting of Assistance League and presented them with a check for $100,000! This was, of course, met with a standing ovation of appreciation.
The Stoners are not new to opening their hearts and helping others in need. In 2016, they began a scholarship program providing full college tuition for two students each year, for four years each, helping a total of eight students! They have always been believers in ‘paying it forward’ to help others.
The Stoners don’t expect anything back, except to see others pay it forward as well.
