One of the most popular philanthropic programs of our chapter.

The Kids on the Block are a troupe of life-sized puppets operated by our own trained volunteer puppeteers who perform for elementary school children. The copyrighted scripts are designed to teach children about physical and mental differences and how to deal with social issues such as child abuse, divorce, bullies, and gang violence. The students interact with puppets during a question and answer period at the conclusion of each presentation.

Since its adoption by Assistance League of Victor Valley in 1987, The Kids on the Block program continues to be one of the most popular philanthropic programs sponsored by the chapter.
