Former Whittier Assisteen Stacey Lee won the PEN award in the Young Adult category for her second book: Outrun the Moon. This is a compelling story set against the 1906 San Francisco earthquake. Stacey is also the author of the critically acclaimed Under a Painted Sky. Congratulations to Stacy. What an exciting accomplishment.
