MISSION<\/h4>\n

Assistance League of Wichita, a chapter of the National Assistance League, is a nonprofit organization of volunteers dedicated to putting caring and commitment into action through community-based philanthropic programs that address the needs of the Wichita community.<\/p>\n

Assistance League aspires to meet the challenging needs of individuals in communities across the nation.<\/p>\n

ANNUAL REPORT<\/h4>\n

Our annual report is available each year after June 1. We aim to minimize our management budget and maximize our support for families and children in Wichita.<\/p>\n

Aware of the fiduciary responsibility for funds entrusted to our use, we follow the Better Business Bureau Wise Giving Alliance Standards for Charitable Accountability<\/a>.\u00a0 A summary of our annual fiscal report is also available on GuideStar<\/a> and Great Nonprofits.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Individuals who sit on the\u00a0board\u00a0are responsible for overseeing the organization’s activities.\u00a0Board members meet periodically to discuss and vote on the affairs of the organization.<\/p>\n
