On Saturday, December 3rd, Assistance League held our first Barnes & Noble Bookfair at the Forum Shopping Center in Peachtree Corners. It was a fun day with our members offering activities for the children: story telling, face painting and arts and crafts. Barnes & Noble contributed a percentage of in-store sales that day and online sales for several days thereafter for those who mentioned Assistance League. The donation will be used to purchase new books for our Operation Literacy Program, which provides books to children in need. It was a fun day for all of us!
