Operation School Bell®

Students, grades pre K – 12, have the opportunity to shop at a designated Kohl’s or Target store.  They select their clothing based on individual needs and circumstances.  All receive a personal hygiene kit.  Their smiles as they leave the store are as big as the bags they are carrying!

Operation Cinderella

Provides high school seniors in need with everything necessary, from formal dresses to tux rental gift certificates, for a positive prom experience.

Operation Support Our Schools

Provides a variety of support services to at-risk students on nineteen campuses and two school clusters located in the Clear Creek and Dickinson Independent School Districts.

Assault Survivor Kit 2020-2021 Success

Assault Survivor Kits®

Provides clothing and hygiene kits for victims of domestic and sexual assaults whose clothing has been retained by law enforcement as evidence.

Ready for Work

Provides men and women identified by the United Way of Greater Houston THRIVE Center at Bay Area, Family Promise of Clear Creek, and The Bridge Over Troubled Waters with interview and job-appropriate clothing.

Sarah Foulds delivers nonperishable nutritional items to her Operation Support Our Schools campus, Space Center Intermediate, and Communities In Schools – Bay Area Student Support Specialist Stephanie Hornung. Members of this committee work with the specialists at designed Clear Creek and Dickinson ISD campuses to identify the needs of the at-risk students they support.

Operation School Bell Items Delivered to Morgan Elementary

Forty-five (45) Operation School Bell® bags filled with appropriate clothing, undergarments, and a hygiene kit were delivered to Morgan Elementary in Galveston Independent School District by the committee chairman, Sarah Foulds.

Bay Area Houston Alumnae Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Partners with Assistance League of the Bay Area

The Bay Area Houston Alumnae Chapter-Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. donated materials and helped assembled items for the league’s philanthropic program Assault Survivor Kits®. As a result of their generosity, forty-three kits to Bay Area Turning Point have been delivered, with another thirteen on the way.
