On May 9, Assistance League^® of the Bay Area members traveled to La Porte ISD where they presented three Teacher Innovative Grants through the La Porte Education Foundation.

Grants totaling $7,387.53 were presented to Wendy McCarthy, College Park Elementary, Kimberly LaRive, Lomax Elementary, and Rhonda Knighten and Kelly Leonard, La Porte Elementary.
