Permanent Endowment Fund of the Moody Methodist Fund Gifts Assistance League of the Bay Area $40,000

Assistance League® of the Bay Area is thrilled to have received a national grant from the Permanent Endowment Fund of the Moody Methodist Church in the amount of $40,000. This will allow our chapter to clothe more students through our largest philanthropic program, Operation School Bell®.

Students, in Pre-K through 12th grade, are identified by authorized campus personnel in the Clear Creek ISD, Dickinson Independent School District, Friendswood ISD, Galveston Independent School District including the Moody Early Childhood Center, and La Porte Independent School District as well as the Odyssey Academy with locations on Galveston Island and El Lago. These students are given the opportunity to shop at an assigned store location at either three area Kohl’s Department Stores in Friendswood, Pasadena, or League City or Target on Broadway Street in Galveston.

In addition to selecting school-approved clothing, they are provided a personal hygiene kit, assembled by ASSISTEENS® OF THE BAY AREA.
