Assistance League of the Bay Area Receives $50,000 Grant from Moody Foundation

Assistance League® of the Bay Area received a $50,000 grant from the Moody Foundation, enabling the chapter to expand its reach to the students who are in need and reside on Galveston Island.

On August 17th, the chapter’s largest philanthropic program, Operation School Bell,® launched its 2019-2020 year by working with families from the Odyssey Academy campus in Galveston.

Allan Matthews, Moody Foundation Grants Director, stopped by to see the volunteers in action. Chapter members were also able to thank him for the foundation’s overwhelming generosity!
