Assistance League® of the Bay Area was invited to participate in the Bayport/Clear Lake Albemarle Foundation’s Vendor Fair on Thursday, October 24.
Held at the Bayport facility, charities supported by the foundation were invited to set up a table with promotional materials and provide volunteer opportunities.
This fair coincided with the kick-off of the annual employee contribution campaign.
The Albemarle Corporation encourages community involvement by matching employee contributions through either money or time volunteered. These contributions are what allow us to receive continual support from this location.
In addition to visiting with the employees, Sarah Foulds and Lisa Holbrook, who attended the event, networked with fellow participants.
Brian Robb, the event organizer, is also a member of the chapter’s Advisory Council.
