Assisteens Spread Valentine Cheer

Assisteens® spread Valentine cheer by helping children at Bay Area Turning Point craft cards as part of Project FAMILY.

Project FAMILY (Friendly, Fun + Academic + Mentorship + Interaction + Life + Yes) is an independently-managed philanthropic program where the teens spend one Saturday a month with the shelter’s youngest residents. One hour is spent on tutoring and academics and the second hour is devoted to celebratory events.

This program, initially launched in 2017, was a passion for then Vice Chairman Philanthropic Programs, Divya Sashital.
