Assistance League of the Bay Area Returns Over $780,000 to the Community

For the past few years, it has been customary for the previous year’s president and the current one to jointly present a check to the membership for the money returned to the community by volunteers, based on the number of service hours reported and the estimated value of a volunteer hour.

At the September 28th membership meeting, chapter President Brooks Cima shared a slide, highlighting the amount. We now present it in the form of a check, made payable to the communities we serve.

Most importantly, it reflects the Herculean efforts of so many of our members and their service in philanthropic programs, resource development, and committee work.
