A recent Ready for work client referred by the United Way of Greater Houston – Bay Area THRIVE Center, received top-of-line customer care from program chairman, Linda McCormack.
Without a means of transportation, Linda and her neighbor picked him up and took him to a local Wal-Mart to shop for work-specific clothing.
The young man was enthusiastically appreciative, and in his words said, “Two miracles happened in one day, a new job and the clothing to go with it.”
