Memory Care Residents at Heartis Clear Lake Receive Cards through Notes for Folks Philanthropic Program

The Alzheimer’s Association states an estimated 6.2 million Americans age 65 and older are living with Alzheimer’s dementia in 2021. And by the year 2050, their projections indicate the number will more than double to 12.7 million.

Assisteens® of the Bay Area, through their philanthropic program, Notes for Folks, provide monthly communication to the individuals who reside in the memory care unit of Heartis Senior Living.

Greetings filled with celebratory, encouraging, and warm messages along with colorful designs are delivered to the facility after their work after the membership meeting or individually at home.

We respect the lives they have lived and the contributions that have made ours better.
