Benjamin Taylor Received Prestigious H.O.P.E. Award

The H.O.P.E. Award is given to a nonmember individual, a company, or a group for significant contribution to the chapter. When Jill Williams joined the chapter in 2000, she brought along Stuart Williams who gave his spirit of caring and commitment to working with the chapter. The Heroes of Positive Endeavors Award is a tribute to Stuart’s life and service to the chapter.

Benjamin Taylor is the recipient of this year’s H.O.P.E. Award.

Benjamin, a Tulsa friend of member Patty Southmayd, is receiving this award due to the extensive work he put into assisting the chapter during the past two years. He volunteered his creative expertise when we started the interior remodel of the resale shop. His ideas for staging and marketing enhanced the layout. This past fall, he traveled from Tulsa to donate Christmas merchandise, his own and from his clients and friends, for the Holiday Extravaganza. He advised on the theme, helped select the color palette, and lent his thoughts on marketing and setup. Additionally, he created one-of-a-kind holiday items for sale.

We are excited to learn our H.O.P.E. recipient will be relocating to League City and in his words, “looks forward to his continued work with our chapter.”
