Assistance League of the Bay Area Returns over $1 Million to the Community

As a result of the volunteer efforts of both chapter adults and the Assisteens® auxiliary, Assistance League® of the Bay Area provided 35,026 service hours, and based on the value of a volunteer hour as calculated by the US Department of Labor Bureau of Labor Statistics, returned over one million dollars to the greater Houston-Bay area community during the 2021-2022 fiscal year.

Assisteens of the Bay Area contributed 6,238.75 service hours to the above number and returned $185,415.65 of the one million dollars to the community.
