Assisteens of the Bay Area Hold First Membership Meeting of the 2022-2023 Fiscal Year

One hundred twenty-six Assisteens® attended the first membership meeting of the year.

Held on Sunday, September 25, 2022, at St. Thomas the Apostle Episcopal Church, attendees received updates from the teen auxiliary board. Plans call for program speakers for October, November, January, February, March, and April, spearheaded by Chairman Thomas Jennische.

Vice Chairman Membership Joia Glover provided statistics regarding the auxiliary’s 175 members and recapped volunteer opportunities.

Vice Chairman Diya Patel thanked teen liaisons for each of the philanthropic programs and recapped all the summer activities.

Vice Chairman Resource Development Katelyn Daniel recommended a gift-wrapping event instead of a fundraiser, and the members voted unanimously to support it.

Vice Chairman Marketing & Communications Kate Mark encouraged members to help the auxiliary reach 400 followers on Instagram by the end of the month.

Assistant Treasurer Lauren Talley reviewed financial information and proposed budget amendments for approval.

Chairman-Elect recognized those receiving the President’s Volunteer Service Award for the previous fiscal year’s service.

Secretary Faith Horn kept impeccable minutes.

Afterward, an orderly and well-organized adjournment, many remained to work on various philanthropic programs.
