Assisteens^® of the Bay Area assemble and deliver pet adoption kits to the League City Animal Care shelter and Bay Area Pet Adoptions in San Leon throughout the school year, immediately after a membership meeting. The kits contain items to help adoptive families with start-up toys and other basic items.

Additionally, Assisteens may choose to donate to the League City Animal Care shelter monthly, providing food and supplies for large and small dogs, and cats. Donations are given to help the shelter maintain the necessary inventory levels to support the number of companion animals temporarily housed.
