Throughout the summer, after membership meetings and via their work at home, Assisteens^® craft soft and cuddly fleece blankets delivered to two philanthropic program partners, Bay Area Turning Point Shelter and The Bridge Over Trouble Waters, throughout the year.

The blankets are given to young children who enter the shelter, often under traumatic circumstances. Since many of them cannot bring any items from home, they typically arrive with only their clothes. The blankets serve as a source of security and comfort for these children.
