Recognizing some students face food scarcity daily, Assisteens^® of the Bay Area works towards eradicating that issue through the Basic Kneads philanthropic program.

The most significant component of the program is a collaboration with the chapter and its Snack Attack Packs philanthropy.

From August to May, adult members and Assisteens assemble 900 bags containing a microwaveable meal, a sweet and salty snack, and a drink. These bags are then distributed to campus personnel, who provide them to students.
