Assisteens Raise Awareness of Sexual Assault Through Crafted with Care and Project Snuggle Philanthropies

April is a month of solidarity, reflection, and action as we observe Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM). It’s a time to raise awareness about the prevalence of sexual violence and to educate our communities on prevention and support.

Assisteens® of the Bay Area, through the partnership with the Bay Area Turning Point and The Bridge Over Troubled Waters, play a pivotal role in this mission through the philanthropic programs Crafted with Care and Project Snuggle. These programs provide celebration, comfort, and support to the youngest residents, children ages 4-10. The fun holiday-themed crafts and soft fleece blankets provide tangible tokens of care that can make a significant difference during a difficult time.

We can create a culture of respect, support, and prevention and support our partners as they work towards eradicating this from our society.
