Books Donated to the Galveston Shriner’s Hospital Children’s Burn Unit

Shriners Children’s Texas is located in the heart of Galveston, where healing hands work miracles. Now, on their shelves are stories, adventures, and dreams.

Armed with stacks of books, Assistance League of the Bay Area stepped into the hospital’s corridors. From picture books to chapter novels, we left no genre unexplored.

The donation is made possible by the generosity of holiday shoppers at Barnes & Noble Baybrook, who, from Thanksgiving through New Year, could choose to purchase a book and donate it to the chapter.

Melanie Lovuola, Sarah Foulds, Sarah Musick (Shriners Philanthropic Assistant), and Marie Keener are pictured.
