Assistance League^® of the Bay Area President Linda Byrd (left) accepted the Clear Lake Lunar Rendezvous Festival’s $6,000 donation to the chapter during the recent 2025 Kickoff and Distribution of Funds event, which was held Sunday, April 6th, at the University of Houston – Clear Lake’s Bayou Building, alongside 2024 General Chairman Elizabeth Olin (center) and 2024-2025 Advisory Board Chairman, Terri Dieste (right).

The festival is celebrating its 60th year and has been dedicated to promoting charity, honoring students, and acknowledging the rich contributions of the aerospace community since its inception.

This contribution will help fund the chapter’s largest philanthropic program, Operation School Bell^®, dedicated to providing students with school-appropriate clothing and accessories to boost their confidence as they enter the classroom.
