Assistance League® of the Bay Area was honored to be one of three local nonprofits invited to share our story at the quarterly meeting of 100 Women Who Care – Clear Lake Bay Area on Wednesday, May 7th.
Sarah Foulds kicked off the presentation by expressing gratitude to the attendees for the opportunity to speak and introduced three key individuals from our organization. Rebecca Saavedra offered a comprehensive overview of our mission, highlighting the positive impact we’ve had in the community. Renee McCoy shared her personal anecdotes, illustrating the significant difference our chapter’s signature program, Operation School Bell®, has made in the lives of many. Erin O’Connell, a senior Assisteen®, reflected on the valuable experiences she’s gained as a teenager and spoke about the joy of serving and giving back to others.
While we ultimately were not selected, we sincerely appreciated the opportunity to showcase who we are and the work we do to an audience that may have been unfamiliar with us until that evening.
