Assisteens® of the Bay Area’s auxiliary board hit the ground running in June and continued their momentum throughout the year, planning and executing a fantastic array of activities.
Starting with the summer months, Chair Olivia Casas led in-person philanthropy days at our meeting venue, Saint Thomas the Apostle Episcopal Church, creating shared experiences as we supported our program recipients.
Vice Chair Membership Erin O’Connell took on the monumental task of ensuring that everyone attending the meetings signed in, adapting seamlessly to the various locations of our gatherings.
Claire Collura, Vice Chair Philanthropic Programs, managed six philanthropic initiatives following membership meetings. This included the expansion of the Basic Kneads program and presenting a new potential partner, Cause for Paws, to the membership for approval.
Abby Horn, Vice Chair Resource Development, expertly organized the Pictures with Santa fundraiser, coordinating with vendors, the venue, and volunteers without missing a beat.
Sophia Lach, Vice Chair Marketing and Communications, encouraged active participation on social media, leading to impressive results—nearly 1,600 followers on Facebook and 785 on Instagram.
Haleigh Pham, Secretary, meticulously produced professional minutes for all board and membership meetings.
Thomas Arboleda, Assistant Auxiliary Treasurer, kept a close eye on our financial health, ensuring we stayed within our budget while surpassing our revenue expectations.
Maggie Lin, Parliamentarian, was always there to offer guidance when needed.
Lily Boyles, Chair-Elect, took diligent notes to ensure she’s well-prepared for the upcoming year.
Thank you all for your willingness to lead and set a strong example for others.
