The Leslie L. Alexander Foundation found Assistance League^® of the Bay Area while doing a search on programs for the homeless in the greater Houston area.

The chapter was surprised by the first donation and bowled over as each successive check popped up with no warning. Their funding was used for Operation School Bell^®, Operation Support Our Schools and started a new program in Texas City ISD called Snack Attack Packs.

We hope we’ve made them proud of what we’ve done with their generous gifts that have totaled $280,000.

The Operation School Bell Award is an award presented by our National organization for only the most exceptional supporters. We are thrilled that our benefactor was chosen.
