Assistance League provides interview and job-appropriate clothing to individuals who have been referred by Family Promise of Clear Creek, The United Way Greater Houston THRIVE Center or The Bridge Over Troubled Waters facility in Pasadena.

This philanthropic program offers an opportunity for men and women who are re-entering the workforce after a job loss or changed domestic circumstances to be attired in clothing that is required for the interview process and work environment.

For the 2020-2021 fiscal year, the chapter provided clothing to 30 referred clients.

“We love referring our residents to Assistance League’s Resale Shop!  The shop not only provides them with a selection of clothing but shoes as well.  The personal shoppers patiently work with them and afterwards, what could have been a stressful situation, instead puts a smile on their faces.” – Marcella Caldwell, The Bridge Over Troubled Waters Hotline Manager
