Each year, Assistance League of Bellingham hosts two signature fundraising events. In the fall, we present our festive Yule Boutique, and in the spring, we celebrate with a lively Fashion Show and Luncheon. Proceeds from these fun-filled gatherings support our six community programs, enriching the lives of children and adults throughout Whatcom County.
Our Yule Boutique is a beloved annual tradition and a must-visit for holiday shoppers! Assistance League volunteer members and friends work year-round to create unique handcrafted gifts for the Boutique. Also featured are charming holiday decorations, delicious soup mixes and one-of-a-kind vintage collectibles.
A highlight of the Boutique is our irresistible baked goods table – an impressive 15 feet of homemade cookies, cakes and candies, all freshy made the week of the event. It’s a sweet experience you won’t want to miss!
This year’s Yule Boutique will take place on Saturday, November 1st, 2025 at the Grace Center, Trinity Lutheran Church, 2408 Cornwall Avenue, Bellingham.
We can’t wait to welcome to you to this festive, fun-filled celebration of the season!
On Saturday, May 24, 2025, Assistance League of Bellingham and the Bellingham Emblem Club joined forces to host a vibrant Fashion Show and Luncheon Fundraiser at the Elks Club, in Bellingham, WA.
Guests enjoyed a delicious light lunch featuring chicken salad on a croissant, arugula salad, and a slice of rich cheesecake.
The event’s popular Boutique Marketplace—featuring high-quality treasures from the Assistance League’s Thrift & Gift Shop—was open before and after the fashion show, giving attendees a chance to browse and shop. Guests also took part in a raffle for beautifully curated Gift Baskets and placed bids in a silent auction.
The highlight of the day was the fashion show, with members from both organizations modeling stylish ensembles from local retailers, including standout pieces from the Thrift & Gift Shop.
A heartfelt thank-you goes out to everyone who attended and supported this special fundraising event. Your generosity helps us continue our mission in the Bellingham community!
