Assistance League’s Operation Check Hunger program will hold a total of 14 mobile pantries at four high need schools during this school year. Families receive fresh produce, bread, meat and eggs that are provided, packaged and distributed by our member volunteers at each event. Each family typically leaves with 40-50 pounds of food. We thank Publix Super Market Charities for a grant to underwrite the most recent mobile pantry at Billingsville Elementary.
