Assistance League of Charlotte is an all volunteer, nonprofit organization whose members are dedicated to helping the children in the Charlotte community.

Become a part of an incredible group of volunteers who are dedicated to making a difference in our community. Our member volunteers often say that they joined Assistance League of Charlotte for the philanthropic programs and stayed for the friendships. Assistance League of Charlotte offers unique volunteer opportunities that will fit your interests and time. 

Members meet the 4th Wednesday of each month. At this time the meeting is a hybrid format: in-person at our center, with a social time at 9:30 am and the Membership meeting beginning at 10:00 am; and on Zoom.   Last year member volunteers contributed more than hours 54,639 of their valuable time to make our programs and thrift shop successful.

  Based on statistical information from the U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics, the value of a volunteer hour estimates is $29.72.  That equates to $1,623,871.
