Philanthropic Programs

School Bell

Operation School Bell®

Working with K-12 counselors, Operation School Bell provides clothing and shoes in order for families, who are in most need, to use their limited funds elsewhere while allowing their children to focus on their education.

Operation Can You Hear Me?

Preschoolers are screened for hearing problems.  If any are found, the children are referred to a local audiologist to determine the extent of their hearing loss, and hearing aids are provided if needed.

Assault Survivor Kits®

Emergency clothing and hygiene items are supplied to a local hospital who provides them to survivors of assault.

Buddy Bear

Teddy bears are provided to local institutions who give them to individuals in traumatic situations.

Sweet Dreams

A new mattress/box springs sets are provided to teens being emancipated from foster care.

It’s in the Bag

This program’s purpose is to offer unsellable goods to the community for those less fortunate.  We donate clothing, shoes, purses and some hardware goods that are  not quite up to the standards that we require at the Bargain Box.
