New School Clothes for 3,600 Children

Our Operation School Bell® program provides new school clothes for children in grades TK-5. They lose contact with family, friends, pets and school.  Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) Volunteers provide stable and consistent care, companionship, and mentoring during this difficult time and beyond. Rotary Assists our Clothing Program

On September 29, Community Partners from Walnut Creek Rotary assisted Assistance League Diablo Valley Operation School Bell volunteers in providing uniforms for schoolchildren in Mt. Diablo and Pittsburg school districts.  Each child’s family placed orders for clothing through the school, and volunteers assembled the ordered uniforms into personalized reusable tote bags.
