From now until September 30, you can donate at any Foodland, Sack N Save, or Foodland Farms location statewide. Simply use the Assistance League of Hawaii’s unique code, 77759, when you check out with your Maika’i Card.

Your Donations Fund Our Programs

Assistance League of Hawaii is a non-profit organization that provides philanthropic programs to thousands of Hawaii’s most needy students, children, and families. One of our signature programs is Operation School Bell®, which provides new school clothing to children in Title 1 schools.

This year Operation School Bell member volunteers helped children get new outfits and shoes to kick off the new academic year. The annual community matching gifts program honors Foodland of Hawaii’s founder Maurice J. “Sully” Sullivan. The program continues his legacy of giving back to the community and supports the Assistance League of Hawaii’s philanthropic programs for our keiki.

How Does Give Aloha Work? During the month of September, customers are invited to make donations of up to $249 (per person, per organization) at checkout to their favorite Hawaii non-profit organization registered in the Give Aloha program. Donations are accepted at any Foodland, Sack N Save or Foodland Farms checkout. A code is assigned to each organization for donation tracking at checkout. This year, Foodland will match each donation up to a total of at least $250,000 for all organizations combined. 

Enrollment in Foodland’s free Maka’i Rewards program is required. If you are not part of the program, you can sign up for free at any Foodland or Sack N Save store.

In order to help Assistance League of Hawaii, be sure you use the code 77759 for all Give Aloha purchases at the Foodland or Sack N Save checkout.

Assistance League of Hawaii can use your “aloha” as we are one of the many participating non-profit organizations in Foodland’s annual “Give Aloha” campaign for the month of September. All Foodland Maka’i Card holders can make a donation to their favorite nonprofit organization whenever they shop at any Foodland location. Just tell the clerk that you want to give an “Aloha” gift to Assistance League of Hawaii of up to $249.

If you don’t have a Maka’i Card, sign up and use is FREE on the spot. The program ends on September 30, so there is still plenty of time to send us some “Aloha!”
