Our visit to Chouteau Elementary was one of three stops along Assistance League of Kansas City’s “Adventures in Literacy” tour. Thanks to author and illustrator John Hare for entertaining the students and staff at Chouteau. We had a great time.

On our second stop, the author shared his amazing work with students at Topping Elementary School! Students were engaged and entertained, and to top it off, these young readers went home with new books!!
