COMMUNITY PARTNERS are organizations that share Assistance League of Kansas City’s passion for transforming the lives of less fortunate children and adults in the greater Kansas City area. They make an annual commitment to provide financial or in-kind support to ALKC so that we can continue to serve the most vulnerable area residents. As one elementary school counselor commented, “The new clothing provided by ALKC increases children’s confidence but equally important it shows them that the community cares about their welfare.”
COMMUNITY PARTNERS show they care by partnering with ALKC volunteers to provide:
- new clothing, shoes, and other items for at risk students
- emergency help such as medical equipment and eyeglasses for children in-need
- clothing and personal care kits for sexual assault survivors for use after their hospital exams
- scholarships to worthy high school seniors and returning adults
- a grade school safety curriculum used in over 60 area schools.
- teddy bears for police, EMT staff, and hospitals to give to children in crisis
- comfort and supplies for vulnerable seniors

Principal – $10,000

- Opportunity to promote organization with collateral for one month in THE ReSALE SHOP
- Opportunity to address members and promote organization at a monthly member meeting

Impact to ALKC: Provides SCHOLARSHIPS for 8-10 students or NEW CLOTHING for approximately 100 children
Promoter – $5,000
- Organization name and logo on signage/print collateral and local publications as ALKC Promoter partner

- Organization recognition on signage in Admin Center and THE ReSALE SHOP for 12 months
- Opportunity to promote organization with collateral at one monthly member meeting
- Logo and organization recognition in annual report and newsletter
Impact to ALKC: Provides SCHOLARSHIPS for 3-5 students or NEW CLOTHING for approximately 50 children
Advocate – $2,500
- Organization name and logo on signage/print collateral as ALKC Advocate partner
- Logo and recognition on ALKC website for 12 months
- Publicity on signage in Admin Center for 12 months
- Logo and organization recognition in annual report and newsletter
Impact to ALKC: Provides SCHOLARSHIPS for 1-2 students or NEW CLOTHING and SHOES for approximately 30 children
Supporter – $1,000
- Recognition on ALKC website as Supporter of ALKC partner for 12 months
- Publicity on signage in Admin Center for 12 months
- Recognition in annual report and newsletter
Impact to ALKC: Provides FOOD and SUPPLIES to approximately 10 students and families or NEW SHOES for approximately 60 children
Friend – $500
- Recognition on ALKC website as Friend of ALKC partner
- Recognition in annual report and newsletter
Impact to ALKC: Provides FOOD and SUPPLIES to approximately 5 students and families or NEW SHOES for approximately 30 children
