- We have a “NO RETURN” policy on all items purchased
- We accept debt/credit cards
except American Express. - We do not accept checks or $100 bills
- We will ONLY place furniture on
hold for no more than 24 hours.

Inappropriate “donations” are expensive for us to have hauled away and thereby reduce what we can do to help people in the community. Please donate appropriately during business hours.

We gladly accept the following:
- Men’s, women’s, children’s, baby clothes and shoes
- Household items
- Home decor and decorative items
- China, dishes, linens and towels
- Accessories
- Framed wall art
- Seasonal holiday items
- Toys, puzzles, bicycles and tricycles
- Jewelry
- Books
- Vintage and collectibles
- Sports Items
We cannot accept the following:
- Mattresses (any size)
- Televisions, computers, computer parts, printers, fax and answering machines
- Encyclopedias, bibles, hymnals
- Cassette or VHS tapes
- Large exercise equipment and appliances
- Baby cribs, infant car seats
- Hazardous materials, such as paint
- Building materials, gasoline-powered tools
- Large carpet remnants or rug padding
- Office binders with company logos

Please bring your “gently used” items during business hours to the receiving door located at the N. Oak Trafficway side of THE ReSALE SHOP. Ring the doorbell, wait, and a volunteer will assist you.
For safety reasons, donations are accepted only during our business hours. Please do NOT leave items outside when we are closed.
Assistance League of Kansas City is a 501(c)(3) corporation and donations are tax-deductible. Receipts are available at the donation door.
