Marty Poslethwait, founder of the Shadow Buddies Foundation joined us on May 1 at the Desert Sage Purse and Jewelry Sale. She talked about how the foundation came to be. Shadow Buddies are provided for children with cancer at a local pediatric oncology clinic thanks to Desert Sage members. Shadow Buddies offer seriously ill children the companionship of a friend “just like me.”
