Assistance League of Las Vegas is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that transforms the lives of children and adults through philanthropic programs in the Las Vegas community. Member volunteers are dedicated to ongoing support and a long-term presence in the community through hands-on involvement and innovative philanthropic programs. Assistance League of Las Vegas is part of a national organization.
Attempting to meet previously underserved needs, Assistance League of Las Vegas supports many philanthropic programs that provide services to every age range in the community.
Since its founding in 1976, Assistance League of Las Vegas member volunteers have consistently provided quality service to the Las Vegas area. Our 400+ members contribute over 50,000 hours annually to serve at-risk children and families in our community. Click here to read more about our history.
Our Thrift Shop has been named Best of Las Vegas for six years in a row, from 2017 to 2022, and is staffed and managed entirely by our member volunteers. Donations are always welcome and are tax deductible.
Assistance League of Las Vegas has two auxiliaries: Desert Sage and Assisteens®. Desert Sage membership provides an evening volunteer opportunity for those who do not have the daytime hours to volunteer. Assisteens’ membership is made up of junior/senior high school students in grades seven through twelve.
