The MN Charities Review Council awards the Meets Standards® seal to designate organizations that are trustworthy and transparent. Nonprofit organizations, such as Assistance League Minneapolis/St. Paul, earn the Meets Standards seal by voluntarily participating in the Charities Review Council’s Accountability Wizard® review process. The review process examines four key areas: public disclosure, governance, financial activity, and fundraising. As a result, Assistance League Minneapolis/St. Paul has aligned its practices, policies, and procedures to widely accepted standards of accountability, leading to greater strength, efficacy and to the achievement of the Meets Standards seal. By participating in this review process, Assistance League of Minneapolis/ St. Paul demonstrates responsibility, integrity, and transparency to donors as well as to the general public.
