Links to Learning

The Links to Learning program funds grants up to $1000 to educators for programs that enrich education, improve student achievement, encourage parent/community involvement, and address diversity, equity and inclusion. These grants are available to educators in the Minneapolis, Richfield, St. Paul, and South St. Paul Public School Districts. Assistance League member volunteers review grant applications for funding decisions and conduct follow up visits of select grant recipients. During the 2023-2024 school year, the Links to Learning program of the Assistance League funded 130 teacher grants impacting over 19,632 students in 50 unique schools in Minneapolis, Richfield, St. Paul, and South St. Paul school districts.  Funding awarded to these grants has been used to support field trips, guest artists and authors, community gardens, cooking classes, access to new technology, culturally specific books, student cultural events, classroom equipment, and much more.
