Student Recognition

The purpose of Assistance League’s Academic All Star Program (AAS) is to recognize students in four identified schools who have:

• Achieved excellence in academics

• Shown academic improvement, and/or

• Increased their test scores to a great degree

Each school determines the criteria for their students to receive this award.

Families are invited to celebrate the success of their student at a school awards ceremony. Each student is given an Academic All Star award certificate, a tee shirt with a special Academic All Star emblem on it, an All Star wrist band and a framed photo.

A principal observed, “Parents attend ceremonies and the pride is evident in both the parent and the child. All Star students set an example for other students and strive to continue their positive achievements.”

In 2022-2023 we were happy to celebrate the success of 252 students in both Minneapolis and St. Paul schools.
