Helping Kids Boost Their Reading Skills

Research shows that 3rd grade is the last year of “learning to read.”

In 4th grade, students start to “read to learn.”

Our Page Turners pilot program was designed by reading specialists to help improve reading skills for students who are struggling to read at grade level.  Students will read with trained volunteers three days a week in their classroom.
