Philanthropic Programs

Operation School Bell®

Provides new clothing for elementary, middle and high school children for identified low-income students in the five school districts we serve.

Operation Foster Youth

Facilitates collaboration with local foster care homes and foster family agencies to provide service in the form of the basic essentials of clothing and necessary supplies to foster family agencies for children entering the foster care system.

Operation Scholarships

Scholarships are awarded to area high school seniors for scholastic excellence as well as outstanding community service. Grants are also awarded to district teachers for enrichment programs.

Operation SHADES

Provides a series of financial literacy classes for targeted youths “for a future so bright you will have to wear shades”.

Operation Bear Hug

This program provides teddy bears to hospitalized, injured or traumatized children through hospital ERs and other agencies.

Operation Nonprofit Partnerships

Partners with other community nonprofit organizations to assist in providing needed services to the community.

Operation Community Outreach

This unique program meets a range of community needs on a one-time basis. It enables the organization to respond to emergency requests for goods and services in a flexible manner.

Members of Assistance League recently received a welcome surprise donation Verizon Wireless Solutions Manager, Laura Sowa, arrived at the thrift shop with a donation of backpacks and school supplies that were donated by the employees of the Murrieta, Temecula and Menifee Verizon Wireless corporate stores.  More than twenty backpacks and school supplies including notebooks crayons, […]

     Our second Operation School Bell “shopping event” was August 21st. Our volunteers get as much joy supporting these events as the kids do shopping for new school clothes!      Look for us in Menifee, Murrieta and Temecula!
