‘Legacy of Literacy’ Grants Awarded

Assistance League recently participated in the ‘Legacy of Literacy’ campaign. This national campaign encouraged Assistance League chapters across the country to help combat childhood literacy.  Two Romoland School District teachers were awarded the ‘Legacy of Literacy’ grants to fund their classroom programs. Our Operation Nonprofit Partnerships and Marketing Communications chairmen presented the awards to the teachers at their school sites.

Assistance League strives to increase literacy by providing literacy resources in partnership with schools in our service area.

Your thrift shop donations and purchases fund our philanthropic programs and enable Assistance League to accomplish our mission of transforming the lives of children  through community programs.

Thank you!
