The Scholarship/Grant Committee recently read 100 grant applications that were submitted by teachers in the Temecula, Menifee and Romoland school districts. All were very impressive and described creative ways to enrich their class curriculum. It was obvious these were dedicated teachers looking to help children learn in unique ways. Grant checks gave been disbursed to the districts. The final tally was:

Temecula – 19 Grants; $8,602
Menifee – 11 Grants; $5,110
Romoland – 2 Grants; $973
TOTAL Grants awarded – 32
Total grant money awarded – $14,685
