For the eighth consecutive year Assistance League of Temecula Valley has been selected as the John Hine Temecula Subaru’s Hometown Charity for the 2020 Subaru “Share the Love” event.

The Subaru “Share the Love” event was started in 2007. Subaru of America regularly donates $250 to one of four national charities for each new Subaru purchased or leased.  The donation choice is made by the buyer. Beginning in 2013 Subaru dealers had the opportunity to add a local hometown charity for their customers to support. Assistance League of Temecula Valley was chosen that year as the local Hometown Charity for John Hine Temecula Subaru. The “Share the Love” Hometown Charity event begins each year the third week in November and runs through the first weekend in January.  The total contribution to Assistance League from this event during the past seven years is $161,219 which includes a donation of $50,000 for the 2019 event.
