Thrift Shop Expands Saturday Hours

Assistance League of Hawaii Thrift Shop announces expanded Saturday hours. Starting on Saturday, August 1, the Thrift Shop will be open at 9:30 a.m. and close at 3:00 p.m. There will be more time for you to shop and find that special treasure that you came in to look for.

We are also open on Tuesdays from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Due to COVID-19, we ask for your help in keeping everyone safe and healthy.

  • Please wear a face mask while shopping; no entry will be allowed without a mask
  • If you are ill, please stay home and get well
  • Observe the social distancing markings throughout the store
  • You can bring your own reusable shopping bag, and bag your own purchases
  • Place your donations in our bins in the parking lot during open hours only

Your support and purchases at the Assistance League of Hawaii Thrift Shop help fund our programs which help school age children with supplies and extended learning. More information about our programs can be found on our Philanthropic Programs page.

The first Operation School Bell® event for the new academic year was held at the Keeaumoku Street Walmart Store on Saturday, September 15. Assistance League of Hawaii clothed 172 children from Kalihi, Kalihi Waena, Ka’ewai elementary schools and Central Middle. They picked up some great looking clothes and shoes that they can be proud to wear to school. Hopefully, it will help them succeed in school.

Assistance League of Hawaii thanks all of the schools, students, parents, faculty, staff as well as our member volunteers in helping make this a successful event.
