Anne Banning Leadership National Award Presented to Judy “JJ” Oxford

Mary Margaret presents JJ Oxford with Anne Banning Award

Anne Banning was the founder of Assistance League and promoted the growth of volunteering through leadership and education. This award is given to someone who has served in major leadership roles.

Assistance League members, Mary Margaret Leu and Nanci Zander presented this award.  “The person we are honoring today with this award joined Assistance League in 2008. The list of accomplishments and positions she has held during her 16 years as an ALB member, is extensive.

She has served on our board as President and Treasurer for five different years. She has been assistant treasurer three times, Chapter Hub Chair, and Bylaws Chair.  Whenever accounting for money, she has been supportive and enthusiastic to assist the Thrift Shop, Yule Boutique, the Fashion Show and Enrichment Scholarship.

In 2018 when we began the process of adding G Suite and role based email addresses through our newly formed IT Committee, this dedicated member led the way.  She had the foresight to see the future.”
